People often ask me, how I can choose a paint color with such ease.  The answer I give is that I stick to a group of  foundation colors that no matter how the color trends are leaning, or what furniture my client already owns, my foundation colors are foolproof.  They key is not picking colors that will be too bright which is the biggest mistake people make when choosing a paint color.

As my business grew, I began to be known as the color designer.   I would receive calls from people who lived an hour or two away but just needed advice on a paint color.   I would have to explain to them that I could not travel 2 hours for such a small job and couldn’t justify charging them for travel time.

So, one day it occurred to me that I could advise people in any city how to choose a paint color without even standing in their room!
